RIJB is an independent hand-printed apparel studio based in Pune, creating premium printed T-shirts built to last. Every piece is crafted with intention, precision, and a slow, deliberate process.
Our Approach
We believe good clothing starts with patience. At RIJB, each piece is printed in small batches using premium super-combed cotton and high-quality plastisol inks. From screen preparation to final curing, every step is handled deliberately to ensure consistency, smoothness, and long-term durability.
Our designs are intentionally minimal - built around solid forms, balanced composition, and clarity rather than fast-changing trends. Subtle variations in each print are part of the process, reflecting the human hand behind every piece.

The Process Behind Every Piece
A focused, hands-on process that prioritizes clarity, durability, and consistency at every stage.
1. Artwork Preparation
Each design is finalized and prepared specifically for screen printing, ensuring sharp edges, accurate sizing, and optimal print clarity before production begins.
2. Screen Preparation
Printing screens are carefully coated with photosensitive emulsion and dried in controlled conditions. The artwork is then exposed onto the screen, forming a precise stencil that defines the final print.
3. Washout & Screen Readiness
After exposure, the screen is washed to reveal the design area. This creates a clean, open mesh where ink will pass through with accuracy and control.
4. Ink Mixing & Testing
Inks are mixed and tested for color consistency, viscosity, and coverage to ensure a smooth, even finish across every garment.
5. Print Setup & Registration
The screen is aligned precisely on the garment to maintain consistent placement and uniform results throughout the batch.
6. Hand-Pulled Printing
Ink is pulled manually through the screen using controlled pressure. This hands-on process allows for better ink penetration, smooth texture, and strong adhesion to the fabric.
7. Drying & Final Curing
Prints are flash-dried when required and fully cured at the correct temperature. This locks the ink into the fibers, resulting in a crack-resistant, wash-durable finish.
8. Quality Inspection
Each piece is inspected for alignment, smoothness, and print integrity before it is cleared for wear.
